The NASCAR on TNT summer series ended with a whimper.
The LifeLock.com 400 drew a 3.2 rating with 5.1 million viewers on TNT Saturday night, down 20% and 19%, respectively, from a 4.0 with 6.4 million viewers for the comparable race last year, which aired on a Sunday afternoon. The race was the lowest rated and second-least viewed of the season.
NASCAR on TNT finished as the third most watched program on cable for the week, behind WWE Raw and Burn Notice on USA Network.
TNT averaged a 3.6 rating and 5.7 million viewers for six NASCAR races this season, up 3% in ratings but down 1% in total viewers compared to last year.
