F1 Euro GP Nears Season-High
- Last Sunday’s Formula 1 European Grand Prix from Azerbaijan earned 569,000 viewers on NBCSN, the second-largest audience of the season on cable (seven telecasts). April’s Bahrain GP holds the top spot with 578,000. This year marked the return of the European GP after a three year absence.
Xfinity Series Viewership Up at Iowa
- NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Iowa had 1.4 million viewers on Fox Sports 1 last Sunday afternoon, up 12% from last year, when the race took place in May (1.2M). It was the first Xfinity Series race since Talladega in April to post an increase in viewership.
Taped NHRA From Bristol Up Big Over Last Year’s Live Coverage
- Tape-delayed NHRA racing from Bristol (TN) drew 806,000 viewers on FS1 Sunday afternoon, up 35% from live coverage on ESPN last year (598K) and the fourth-largest audience of the season (11 telecasts). The three most-watched races — Atlanta (1.4M), Las Vegas (1.3M) and New Jersey (1.1M) — each aired after NASCAR Sprint Cup races.
