CBS Sports will go in-house to replace Dick Enberg on U.S. Open coverage.
According to USA Today, CBS and Tennis Channel broadcaster Bill Macatee will serve as the primary play-by-play voice for CBS coverage of the 2012 U.S. Open.
Macatee replaces Dick Enberg, who left his national broadcasting duties to focus on his role as the voice of the San Diego Padres. Enberg called the U.S. Open for CBS from 2000-11.
