Game 5 of the Blazers/Spurs second round NBA playoff series drew 5.0 million viewers Wednesday night, down 4% from Grizzlies/Thunder last year (5.3M), but a series-high. The game ranks as the seventh-most viewed cablecast of the playoffs.
Twelve of the fifteen most-watched playoff games on cable this year have involved Western Conference teams.
One of three Eastern Conference games in the top fifteen took place earlier in the night. Game 5 of the Nets/Heat series drew 4.9 million viewers, down 11% from Bulls/Heat last year (5.5M), and down 9% from Celtics/Sixers Game 6 in 2012 (5.4M).
