Mostly Down Weekend For College Hoops on CBS
- Maryland/Indiana college basketball drew a 1.3 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, down a tick from Wisconsin/Ohio State last year (1.4) and down 13% from Michigan State/Ohio State in 2014 (1.5). Earlier in the day, the Northern Iowa/Evansville Missouri Valley Conference championship had a 0.8 (flat) and SMU/Cincinnati scored a 1.0 (+25%). On Saturday, N.C. State/Notre Dame and Stanford/Arizona both had a 0.7 — down 22% and 30%, respectively — and LSU/Kentucky a 1.1 (-39%). (via ShowBuzz Daily)
Gymnastics American Cup Up, But Down From Last Olympic Year
- Coverage of gymnastics’ annual American Cup earned a 0.9 overnight rating on NBC Sunday afternoon, up a tick from last year (0.8) but down 18% from 2014 (1.1). Overnights also dropped 18% from the last Olympic year, 2012 (1.1). (via Sports Business Daily)
NASCAR Xfinity Viewership Down Again at Las Vegas
