It was the lowest rated and least-watched Breeders Cup Classic since the event last aired on cable in 2011. That year, coverage on ESPN had a 1.0 and 1.6 million.

Earlier in the morning, Manchester City-Arsenal had a 0.38 (+52%) and 642,000 (+49%).
On Saturday, West Ham-Liverpool drew a 0.47 (flat) and 676,000 (-2%) on the NBC broadcast network. Newcastle-Bournemouth had a 0.20 (-23%) and 305,000 (-24%) on NBCSN. Figures for other matches were not available.
NASCAR Xfinity Down at Texas
Despite the low numbers, it was the most-watched Xfinity Series race on cable since Darlington on Labor Day weekend (1.1M).
