F1 USGP Sees Boost on NBC
- Formula 1 racing from the United States drew a 0.6 final rating and 889,000 viewers on NBC last Sunday, flat in ratings and up 13% in viewership from last year (0.6, 788K) but down a tick and 12%, respectively, from 2013 (0.7, 1.0M). As is usually the case, the USGP trailed NBC’s two previous F1 races from Canada (0.8, 1.0M) and Monaco (0.9, 1.3M).
Slight Drop For NASCAR Trucks From Talladega
- NASCAR Truck Series racing from Talladega had a 0.9 final rating and 1.3 million viewers on FOX last Saturday afternoon, down a tick in ratings and 6% in viewership from last year (1.0, 1.4M), but up 29% in both measures from 2013 on Fox Sports 1 (0.7, 1.0M).
Modest Bump For ISU Skate America
- Skate America, the first event in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, drew a 0.7 final rating and 944,000 viewers on NBCSN last Saturday — up a tick in ratings and 9% in viewership from last year (0.6, 870K) but down a tick and 25%, respectively, from 2013 (0.8, 1.3M). The telecast was cut down from two hours in previous years to one.
